When you register for StackCon or a Mini StackCon, contact us, or sign up for updates, we may collect the name, email address, and phone number of a parent or guardian, along with the attendee's name, age, and any accommodation or emergency contact details you choose to share.

Like most websites, we may also receive basic technical information such as browser type, device, and pages visited to help us understand how the site is used.

We use this information to process registrations, run our events safely, communicate schedules and updates, respond to questions, and improve our programs. We do not sell personal information.

StackCon serves students ages 10–15. We collect information about minors only from a parent or guardian, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. A parent or guardian may review, update, or request deletion of their child's information at any time by contacting us.

Our events may be photographed or recorded for educational and promotional purposes. If you prefer that your child not appear in media, please let us know at registration or check-in and we will do our best to honor that request.

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate our events, such as ticketing and email platforms, and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of our attendees.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
